The River In The Pines - Joan Baez   ( 솔밭 사이로 강물은 흐르고 )   Oh, Mary was a maiden 메리라는 아가씨가 있었어요   When the birds began to sing 새들이 노래하기 시작했을때   She was sweeter than the blooming  rose so early in the spring 봄이되면 그녀는 장미보다도 더 아름다웠죠   Her thoughts were gay and happy   and the morning gay and fine  그녀는 맑고 화창한  아침처럼 무척이나 행복했었죠     For her lover was a river boy  from the river in the pines  그녀에게는 솔밭사이로  강가에  사는 연인이 있었으니까   Now Charlie, he got married to his  Mary in the spring  찰리, 그는  메리와 봄에 결혼을 했어요    When the trees were budding early  and the birds began to sing  나무에선 새싹이 돋고, 새들이  노래하기 시작했을 때    But early in the autumn  그러나 초가을    When the fruit is in the wine    I'll return to you, my darling  "와인이 익을때쯤이면 돌아올게요"    From the river in the pines  "그 솔밭 사이의 강에서..." 라고  메리에게 말하죠    It was early in the morning  in Wisconsin's dreary clime  황랑한 날씨의 위스콘신의  이른 아침이었어요    When he heard the fatal rapids for that last and fatal time  그가  급류에 휩쓸려  빠져나오려는 시간이   They found his body lying on the Rocky shore below  사람들은 해안에서 숨진  그를 발견했죠    Where the silent water ripples  and the whispering cedars blow  잔잔한 강물이 흐르고, 떡갈나무 아래에묻어주었어요     Now every raft of lumber that comes down,  the cheerful way  지금도  뗏목들이  그 폭포를 내려가고 있어요    There's a lonely grave that's visited by drivers on their way  사람들이 차를 몰고 지나가는  그 길목에 외로운 무덤이 있어요   They plant wild flowers upon it  in the  morning fair and fine  맑게 개인 아침에 그들은  그 무덤에 야생화를 심었죠   It is the grave of two young lovers  from the river in the pines  그 무덤은 솔밭 사이로 강물이 흐르는 곳의 두 연인들을 기리기 위한거죠
